Biography
Kyle Colella
Kyle Colella is a fifth-year doctoral student in Rivier University’s Counseling and School Psychology Psy.D. program. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology at Saint Anselm College. Kyle completed a two-year internship at Pinkerton Academy where he worked with adolescents with Autism, depression, anxiety, insomnia, PTSD, and learning disabilities. Kyle is currently completing his second year of internship at Hanover CBT.
Drawing from his personal experience as a type 1 diabetic, Kyle is especially passionate about supporting clients in navigating the psychological challenges associated with chronic illness.
Kyle works with clients aged 18 and older and is trained in a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), CBT for Insomnia (CBT-i), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Motivational Interviewing. He is currently practicing under the supervision of Dr. David Bradley in Bedford, NH.
Kyle also has experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, which he uses to inform the development of individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
Kyle is committed to a holistic approach that integrates evidence-based practices to help his clients live healthier lives. He works diligently to establish appropriate therapeutic goals and strategies to overcome challenges in a compassionate and values-based way. With his genuine warmth and humor, Kyle provides a safe environment for his clients to communicate their needs, express emotions, and process adversities toward greater meaning and joy.
