Biography

Courtney Marchetti, MSN, CNS, APRN-BC


Courtney earned her graduate degree in nursing from Northeastern University and completed advanced education and training in psychiatric nursing at Yale University. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Child/Adolescent Psychiatric/Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist and has over 20 years of experience providing mental health care to children, adolescents, and families across inpatient, residential, outpatient, and educational settings.

Courtney specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management of psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents. She takes a comprehensive and holistic approach to assessment and treatment, considering each patient’s psychiatric, medical, developmental, family, social, educational, and environmental history. As a thoughtful and careful psychopharmacologist, Courtney works collaboratively with patients and families to determine when medication may be beneficial and to develop individualized treatment plans that support each child’s overall mental health and well-being. Central to Courtney's approach is the development of a strong therapeutic relationship with each child and family, grounded in compassion, curiosity, collaboration, and respect.
