Zachary “Zach” Goodman, MD


Zach Goodman, MD is a psychiatrist who completed his residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in 2026. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University and his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. During residency, he served as Inpatient Chief Resident and was honored with the Senior Service Award in recognition of his leadership, service, and commitment to resident education. 

Dr. Goodman specializes in medication management with adults experiencing a broad range of psychiatric concerns, including but not limited to distress related to depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity, trauma, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, and bipolar spectrum disorders. 

Dr. Goodman approaches medication management and therapy as a collaborative process grounded in curiosity, trust, and respect. He views therapy as an opportunity to better understand the patterns, relationships, and roles that shape how people experience themselves and the world around them. His work is informed by contemporary psychodynamic psychotherapy, with the goal of helping patients develop greater freedom in their choices and build lives that feel more authentic and meaningful.
